Bullet Train

This business card was designed for client who wanted something ‘homegrown’ with a small business feel to it. I quickly came up with a concept that was a sketch I did in biro. I then scanned it into illustrator arriving at this conclusion.

Holeproof

This was a fun freelance project I did for Holeproof underwear. The brief was to come up with a range of briefs, boxers and trunks for a high end major retailer. The designs were mainly focused on the elastic part of the underwear as cost was a factor in its development. Also this was intended to be a basics range. I didn’t have much experience with underwear which was an advantage because it allowed me to think outside the box. I’m quite happy with the results and I wouldn’t mind designing some more!

Armagnac

Armagnac was a freelance project whereby I was commissioned to design a new identity for an old restaurant. Basically give it a fresh look. The idea of the new restaurant was to be a wine bar/grill. Although the project never got off the ground due to budget constraints, I’m happy with the outcome I delivered to the client.

Adidas

This is just a small sample of what I designed for Adidas as a freelance designer. This range was released nation wide with the purpose of ‘padding out’ the existing global brand, so Australian customers had more variety to choose from. I immersed myself in the culture that is Adidas so I could get a feel of what they’re all about. Once I did this the graphics followed quite easily. With the help of W.G.S.N. of course! I really enjoyed working at Adidas. Great team and crew.

ALLURE Accesories

This job was produced for a client who had a business importing ladies accessories. Like handbags and earrings etc. She basically showed me a style that she liked that she wanted me to replicate. So without totally copying what she had, I came up with my own set of drawings which I scanned in and traced in a vector format. Once complete these were used as website advertisements, and possible business cards. Both the client and myself were pleased with the result.

Maurice Salon

This job was for a friend of mine who runs a hair dressing salon. This simple yet strong graphic was taken from a picture from the shopfront. the less is more approach works well with this one.

711 design

This flyer was produced when I was doing website designs for small business’s. With the combination of a strong idea and slick illustrator skills. the flyer worked well. Printed on card these were distributed around Melbourne as I went about cold canvasing to drum up business.

Dj Patife and Watkiss MC

This is an example of what I get up to my spare time! I did this mixed media illustration to expand my knowledge of graphics as well as to try and gain some work illustrating one of my favourite Dj’s/Producer. I gave this to Dj Patife at the time he was having one of his gigs in Melbourne. I always like to learn new things and I try to push myself to learn new illustrative styles.

The Odd Couple

This is a logo I did for our drum n bass Dj crew called The Odd Couple. There were 3 members in total. Produced from a tweaked typeface this logo adorned alot of club flyers in the melbourne area. I also wanted something that was bold and could be easily transfered onto large scale A2 posters.

i celebrant

This particular job was for a client who is a celebrant. The specifics were that there were no cheesy/stereotypical images of celebrants. The client just wanted a clean simple logo with a slick typeface. Something that could suit all occasions. This is the end result which I think looks really pleasing to the eye!
