Holeproof
This was a fun freelance project I did for Holeproof underwear. The brief was to come up with a range of briefs, boxers and trunks for a high end major retailer. The designs were mainly focused on the elastic part of the underwear as cost was a factor in its development. Also this was intended to be a basics range. I didn’t have much experience with underwear which was an advantage because it allowed me to think outside the box. I’m quite happy with the results and I wouldn’t mind designing some more!
Armagnac
Armagnac was a freelance project whereby I was commissioned to design a new identity for an old restaurant. Basically give it a fresh look. The idea of the new restaurant was to be a wine bar/grill. Although the project never got off the ground due to budget constraints, I’m happy with the outcome I delivered to the client.
Adidas
This is just a small sample of what I designed for Adidas as a freelance designer. This range was released nation wide with the purpose of ‘padding out’ the existing global brand, so Australian customers had more variety to choose from. I immersed myself in the culture that is Adidas so I could get a feel of what they’re all about. Once I did this the graphics followed quite easily. With the help of W.G.S.N. of course! I really enjoyed working at Adidas. Great team and crew.
ALLURE Accesories
This job was produced for a client who had a business importing ladies accessories. Like handbags and earrings etc. She basically showed me a style that she liked that she wanted me to replicate. So without totally copying what she had, I came up with my own set of drawings which I scanned in and traced in a vector format. Once complete these were used as website advertisements, and possible business cards. Both the client and myself were pleased with the result.
Dj Patife and Watkiss MC
This is an example of what I get up to my spare time! I did this mixed media illustration to expand my knowledge of graphics as well as to try and gain some work illustrating one of my favourite Dj’s/Producer. I gave this to Dj Patife at the time he was having one of his gigs in Melbourne. I always like to learn new things and I try to push myself to learn new illustrative styles.
i celebrant
This particular job was for a client who is a celebrant. The specifics were that there were no cheesy/stereotypical images of celebrants. The client just wanted a clean simple logo with a slick typeface. Something that could suit all occasions. This is the end result which I think looks really pleasing to the eye!
